Prince Harry is on his way to Singapore – and he’s prioritizing comfort as he flies.
While Meghan Markle was hanging out with Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour in LA, Harry was in Tokyo for a summit on the power of sports. While there, he talked about the power of sports as a “channel of healing” and about the impact of playing on the team on his life. He is about to do so; This weekend, he is set to play in the annual Centipeli Polo Cup in Singapore, at the Singapore Polo Club.
Harry left Tokyo with his friend and fellow polo player Nacho Figueras. At Japan’s Haneda Airport, the two were seen in casual clothes as they boarded the plane. Harry, in particular, wore slip-on sneakers by Vince: “Pacific Corduroy Suede,” perhaps a subtle nod to his new home in California on the Pacific Ocean. (Brand confirmed to Town and Country That Harry was dressed in Pacific style.) According to the shoe’s description, the slip-on sneakers are in suede suede with a smooth rubber sole. Its streamlined nature makes it ideal for travel—especially for long trips, such as the one between Tokyo and Singapore (which takes more than seven hours). Bonus: It’s currently on a big sale on Vince’s website.
If you’re looking for a women’s version of Prince Harry’s travel sneakers, you’re in luck. Vince makes a number of slip-on sneakers for all genders, including a similar camel color in suede for women. (But not in shorts.) The Warren sneaker is “a slip-on suede sneaker with a double-thick, hollow rubber sole for lightweight comfort.”
